The red vintage dress

I have been wearing a number of thrift items lately. And this wave of wearing thrifted clothes started for me in 2023 and I haven't stopped since. Today I am sharing snippets of my favourite birthday dress from the last few years or we can also call it my best find from 2023.

If you didn't get to understand my obsession with mermaid cuts and the silhouette of garment from this post where I tak about another thrifting gem, then this red dress will give you the idea.

A layered dress with embroidered net fabric with small crystals beaded throughout the design and sleeves. This dress is what my perfect dress dreams were made of.

A comfortable fit and a perfect silhoutte for my body type I danced away the night n this red dress and unfortunately haven't had a chance to wear this dress out again. I honesty fought tooth and nail, if I may say so, to procure this dress from a thrift shop, someone else almost bought it during the drop, when I was driving and couldn't bid for it, but spent a little extra money to convince the owner of the store, but she was very gracious and let me have it without it as she saw how much I wanted this. Plus I got the perk of being a regular customer.

There is a lot of red in the pictures shared, incidentally we went to a pretty "red" place on the day of my birthday. Styling red is also a difficult task, but I wore this dress as a statement and carried a pink bucket bag, pulling from the embroidery colours. And paired the red dress with red satin heels.

I am sharing a lot of my old outfits in 2025 and I hope you enjoy them here and more on my Instagram channel.

I will definitely wear this dress again this year and post on my socials and will look forward to sharing more stories.

Love,

Priyanjana
