Nykaa Naturals Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Conditioner Review
I started with reviewing the Nykaa Naturals Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Shampoo in this series to review the product range by Nykaa's in-house brand of hair care and skincare products. Like any specifically formulated range, this Nykaa Naturals range is also recommended to be used in combination with its counterparts to achieve the best results. I admit that I have tried this conditioner in combination with other shampoos and since this post is the review for the Nykaa Naturals Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Conditioner, I will be sharing my experience on all fronts.
To understand more about the inclusion of rice water as an ingredient, I'd suggest giving the previous post a read. Like the range, these posts are also best read in combination! *wink*
Let's get started with my experience with the product.
Nykaa Naturals Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Conditioner Review
Price : The conditioner is available in only one size, a 180 ML pack, priced at 399 INR. It is available on Nykaa and is usually on discount, so I would say it is reasonably priced.
Packaging : The Conditioner comes in a squeeze tube packaging and is very easy to use in the shower. The flip cap is easy to open with wet hands which is a small detail but makes using any hair conditioner a breeze adding to customer delight.
Product : The conditioner has a mousse like consistency and spreads easily in wet hair. I have noticed the slippery hair conditioner gets absorbed very easily on semi wet hair, and washes off immediately on dripping wet hair, so I would recommend towel drying your shampooed hair then using this conditioner.
The Fermented water conditioner has a very mild fragrance, fresh and aqua based, like the shampoo, but the fragrance lingers on fora few hours after use, which I honestly expect.
My Experience: Upon using this hair conditioner, I have had manageable hair always. This doesn't drastically help with frizz, but tames it a little bit. Makes my hair a bit soft, I expected this hair conditioner to make my hair softer by a lot, but that is left up on the hair mask from this range. Since this range was directed towards an everyday use, I can understand why this hair conditioner is not made for deep conditioning.
I am not overly excited by this product, but I would recommend this hair conditioner to people looking to make hair manageable and not to deep condition.
Let me know what you think of the product in the comments if you have used the Nykaa Naturals fermented rice water and bamboo hair conditioner.
