Nykaa Naturals fermented rice water and bamboo Shampoo Review

Each range Nykaa launches for their in-house brands like this Nykaa Naturals range for hair with fermented rice water and bamboo, is usually always well-researched and formulated. Because of this,, I have usually liked each of these in-house launches from Nykaa.
Today we are on the subject of one product from the Nykaa Naturals Haircare range, fermented rice water and bamboo shampoo.

Now fermented rice water may be a surprising ingredient for you to be present in a shampoo, but the ingredient by itself is potent and has multiple benefits not only for hair but also for skin, but unfortunately the stink of fermented rice water is difficult to bear and which makes it difficult to use it in its actual form.

Some Chinese tribes use this concoction for long luscious hair and Koreans use this as a skin toner. As Indians, we use rice water in many ways but I have not heard of any beauty-related usage.

I am grateful since Nykaa has brought this ingredient to our household in a format that is not repulsive for the olfactory senses. Now let's see how effective this is in a shampoo

Nykaa Naturals fermented rice water and bamboo Shampoo Review

Product

The Shampoo itself is a very mildly fragranced product. There is no residual fragrance after a hair wash if you are not using the conditioner.
The white shampoo doesn't have a very smooth texture but has a split jelly-like texture.
In terms of cleaning scalp and hair, it performs well, cleans oily hair and scalp and leaves it clean, not dry and squeaky clean, which is why I say it performs well.

I like that the shampoo foams quite well and this helps me mentally accept the shampoo. Usually, SLS-free shampoos don't foam at all, and you end up using a bunch of the product, that is not the case with this. Such a relief.

Price and availability - The Shampoo is available in 200 ML and 400 ML sizes on the Nykaa website or application. Priced at 399 INR and 699 INR respectively.

My experience

I have had a good experience with the products from this range as a whole. Individually this shampoo performs well. It is sulphate-free, so is a gentle option and can be used daily. I have skipped using any conditioning mask or conditioner many times, and still, I see the reduced frizz when I use it.
I have been using this product for many months through various weather and this has helped manage frizz overall.
I would recommend the Nykaa Naturals fermented rice water and bamboo Shampoo if you have light and frizzy hair.

Let me know if you have used this shampoo from Nykaa. I have also reviewed the other products from the fermented rice water range, you can read them here.
