Styling for a night out in Bengaluru Rains

You know how most of us stick to black as the fail-proof colour when dressing up, well I am back to wearing all-black outfits for everything these days. These last few outfits like the all-black denim skirt outfit or the all-black base outfits came back to haunt me on a rainy almost cyclonic day on a cold November Bengaluru evening.

I gave in to the tempting comfort of an all-black outfit on one of the coldest days in the city this year. I was to attend The Fashionable one season 10 show, happening on a rooftop. A turtle neck black top and a sleek black trouser with a gold belt and red pops throughout with red and gold accessories is what I had in mind, but I ended up looking like a Scotland Yard detective ready to solve a murder mystery.

Had to pivot! I couldn't end up looking like a detective at a fashion event now, could I!?

Plunged into my closet and found this beautiful early 2010s Lace top/jacket and I instantly knew that this was it.

Feminine, elegant yet something to keep me warm. I changed my accessories to silver from gold. In any case, I have been leaning toward more silver these days than gold, so I was kinda happy to go with it.

Kept the hair sleek and up and was good to go! I was very happy that I decided to keep warm that evening, as it started to drizzle throughout the show and then it started to pour heavily halfway!

Let me know what you think of this outfit! I am trying my best still not to gravitate towards any more black but I can't help it!

Share tips if you can!
