Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - Pink Review for Indian Skin
Micellar water is a lifesaver for the times when you need to get on with your day after you reach home late from work or it's just late at night after a party and you need to catch some sleep after cleansing off the makeup! This is one of my favorite products for quick action or just making do in instances when I don't have time. Today we are going to talk about the Micellar water from Garnier! The Garnier Micellar Cleansing water. It is available in India and across the globe.
The Garnier Micellar Water was probably the third or fourth Micellar water product I tried for my sensitive skin and I have honestly not reached for any other brand after this. The Garnier product is affordable with good packaging and effective product. Now there are a few variations in the range of micellar water from Garnier, the one I am reviewing today is the Micellar Water Pink, which is formulated for people with dry or sensitive skin and there are several others like the Micellar Water Blue, and the Vitamin C Micellar water from Garnier. For now, let's dive into the review of the Pink Garnier micellar cleansing water!

Product details
Micellar water is used for removing or cleansing makeup usually. It contains micelles that act as magnets for your makeup and cleanse off your makeup or even sometimes sunscreen and dirt easily. It is liquid like water and you can use it on a cotton pad to wipe off your makeup. There is no fragrance at all, as far as the name is concerned it really behaves like water for the most part. This smells, looks, and feels like usual water but is not.
The Garnier micellar water pink is hypoallergenic so it is safe for sensitive skin as well. The product also claims to soothe the skin in the process of using it. Works for most types of makeup, good for using on mascara as it is a gentle process to get the mascara off from eyelashes with the micellar water.
Unique features
The Garnier Micellar Water Pink variant is Hypoallergenic, so great for people with sensitive skin or skin prone to any allergic reactions. It is also very gentle and easy to use without rubbing, which also translates as a benefit for sensitive skin like mine.
Packaging
A transparent plastic bottle with a pink flip-top cap. Easy to carry if using the 125ml pack. Hasn't leaked for me at any time with all the traveling I have done with the micellar water bottle.
Personal experience
I love this! To sum it right up! I use Garnier micellar water as a regular in my skincare routine, be it because I am lazy or because I am short on time. The micellar water is my go-to for many things. Taking off heavy makeup, taking off everyday makeup, or as my first cleanse when double cleansing daily. I alternate between a cleansing oil and Garnier Micellar water for my regular skincare practice of double cleansing at night, to take off the sunscreen most days. I haven't had a very good experience removing waterproof or long-lasting makeup with one swipe with this, but a couple of swipes work well. On days I do wear long-wear makeup, I usually reach for cleansing oil or balm, but the Garnier micellar water is also a good alternative and I usually travel with it.
Tip - Soak the cotton pad with the Garnier micellar water and hold it over your eye or lip for 5-10 seconds to effortlessly swipe off the makeup.
That was my review of the Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar cleansing water! I know I may sound like I am raving about it. But the functionality this brings at the price range?! Ugh, I am floored!
