Perspective:
Is the art of
representing, three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to
give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in
relation to each other.
Or in a plain,
day-to-day language, Point of view.
Someone recently
asked me, why I have such hate towards the things that I don’t like, and why
not just simply be indifferent towards it, and ignore it. My answer was quite
simple. I hate something, because I do not like it, strongly. And, I want to
change that certain thing, and if I was only indifferent towards it, I wouldn’t
even want to give a thought to changing it.
I’ll just be, Indifferent.
But, that
was his perspective; His point of view, his way of looking at things. Not mine.
My job
in this case, was to make him look at things, from my perspective. So as to
make him understand, why I feel a certain way about things. But, at the same
time, it is very important to respect the other person’s point of view,
perspective, even if you don’t like it or agree with it.
I
think perspective and consent are the most misunderstood concepts of all time!
What do you think?
In
this post I made it a point, to experiment. So, we shot from a different point
of view! It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t impossible either. It was merely not
something regular. And that is exactly
what someone else’s perspective is for you! Not something, you are used to.
A bit
about the outfit –
I’m wearing
a black off-shoulder top with a bright red pencil skirt. I wore shoes to match
the outfit, but we couldn’t get a shot of it! I wore those shoes in this post as well {click click}.
Let me
know your point of view about this!
Loads
of love,
