Make Up For Ever HD Blush & Artist Eye Shadow || Review & Swatches

Skincare is the aspect I focus most on when it comes to beauty, but it is not like I do not focus on make up at all! I have to learn a lot of things and because of the same reason, I had decided to use more make up products, frequently, earlier this year! Thankfully, it is something I have been able to stick to!

The product that I am using most apart from Mascara and eyeliner this year, is Blush! Yep, I just casually brush up a bit of blush with sunscreen as my base! I wish I could wear a flawless foundation base in this heat.

This March I tried a couple products from a brand for the first time, an iconic French cosmetic brand called Make Up For Ever. Their wide range of products is made keeping in mind the requirements of Makeup Professionals and hence the superb quality and formulas!
They are known for their HD Foundation, which I would love to try one day {When the temperature is waaay less than what it is now}, but before that I have two equally great products from the house of Make Up For Ever to share with you! Read on to know all about them.

Make Up For Ever HD Blush {Second Skin Cream Blush}

I like prefer cream blushes usually over powder blushes, because I tend to work cautiously with them. Or else, I go overboard with powder blushes.

Price – 2600 INR for 2.8g, Available across all Sephora outlets.
Pigmentation – The pigmentation/coverage is high and is easily buildable. So, make sure you start with a little amount of the product.

Product –
I love the smooth, creamy texture of the blush. The product literally glides over my skin, both with and without foundation. The blush is lightweight compared to the other cream blushes that I have used. It is very easy to work with. Easily Blend-able and works great when used with fingers. {I prefer applying cream blushes with fingers}.

Color –
The shade #425 is a warm toned blush, perfect for my skin tone. The color is reddish- brown, Like Terracotta, with no shimmer or glitter. The color looks very natural and gives a beautiful flush of color. Perfect for Indian skin tones.

Longevity –
It stays on properly for about 5-6 hours, to maintain the beautiful flush of color, I would recommend you to touch it up a bit.

Make Up For Ever Artist Eye Shadow –

Price – 1500 INR for 2.5g, Available across all Sephora outlets.
Pigmentation – The pigmentation/coverage is medium and the product is easily buildable. I personally like eye shadows with medium color payoff, because then I can build up the color however I want.

Product –
I like that it is not chalky, but instead it’s smooth and easy to pick and work with both dry and wet brush. Works very well with fingers as well, if you want to pack in the color. The smooth texture even with the presence of shimmers is a plus and makes it blend-able. There is very less fall out, almost none, when you are working with a dry brush. This one pan is quite big and there are plenty of colors available individually, with various finishes like metallic, diamond, etc.

Color –
It is a warm, yellow toned green with silver shimmer. It is a perfect shade for this year going with Pantone’s Color of the year, Greenery.  The name of the shade is D-334, D here denotes the finish, which is Diamond.

Longevity –
The stay is a decent 6+ hours with full pigmentation, then it starts to fade slowly. I will try wearing this with a primer and let you know the longevity.

Both the products are very comfortable to wear. Out of the two products, I like the blush more, because it is one of the best blushes I have ever used! I would highly recommend the blush.

If you are looking to make a palette with your choice of colors, then go for this eye-shadow. Working with this product is super easy, even if you are not a pro! A make up video using these two products will be up on my YouTube Channel soon!

Which one of the two would be your choice and why!? Let me know in the comments!

Loads of love,
Priyanjana
