Launch of Anuswara | Models with Showstopper Pranita Subhash wearing Anuswara by Crafstvilla |
No matter how much we try to avoid it, the heat in summer
stays with us Indians always! But, beating the heat in style is what we fashion
lovers want to do. Thanks to Craftsvilla’s New In-House Brand, Anuswara, you
CAN beat the heat in style. Anuswara was recently launched in Bangalore in
association with another iconic Indian brand, Femina. I was lucky to be one of the select few to
have a look at the collection first hand and all I can say this is that I have
great expectations from Anuswara.
I loved the collection and especially the fact that they
have kept the needs of the Modern Indian women in mind, while designing the
collection. So, you have clothes in western and modern silhouettes made of
traditional Indian origin fabrics, All the more reason for me to like the
brand’s collections.
The four collections they launched during the brand launch
were: Ikat illustrations, Kalamkari Tales, Summer Hues and Indigo Impressions. Kalamkari
Tales is the collection I have my eyes set on, because of the way they have
used the beautiful and artsy prints and made them into something extraordinary.
My next pick will be the Indigo Impressions collections, because of my very
obvious love for blue.

From what I saw, I can say easily that no matter what your
daily routine is, these clothes made out of breathable, beautiful Indian
fabrics with a contemporary twist will match your style and taste and make you
stand out with grace! And I say this, knowing that in this case, you will not
be sacrificing your comfort to look, which is immensely important in this
gruelling heat!
The fashion show for Anuswara in association with Femina was
closed by Pranita Subhash as the Showstopper. She closed the show dressed in a
bright tomato red, anti-fit dress from Anuswara’s collection and white
sneakers. The ensemble was spot on with the trends of this year and looked like
the perfect ensemble for a brunch or a day out with your girls!
I personally would love to have some pieces from Anuswara in
my closet this summer and I am heading to Craftsvilla now to shop for myself!
You have a look and let me know what you think about this new brand and the
collections!!
Loads of love,
Priyanjana
