Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Pink Guava | Review & Swatch |
Today I am here with a short and sweet review of my all time
companion this summer; Nivea Fruity Shine Lip balm in Pink Guava.
This lightly tinted lip balm has been with me the whole
summer and still hasn’t exhausted of moisturising my lips and it does a really
good work.
This is the first Nivea lip balm I purchased ever, I bought this
after my previous fruit flavored lip balm finished. Oh, yes! I was suddenly
onto fruity lip balms!
Let’s get on with the review-
Packaging –
I like the flip cap packaging. The cap is of the same color
as the lip balm , in case of every flavour. You need to twist it up like a
lipstick. So, handy and cute!
Color –
The lip balm is very lightly pigmented but, enough to show
up on your lips. I like this orangey pink shade and the best part is , that it
has shimmers! Yup, teeny - tiny shimmers which gives a shiny touch to the lip
balm, but does not show up!
The lip balm has been swiped twice in the picture below.

Fragrance –
It has kind of a strong guava fragrance which I didn’t like
at first but then I loved it (Suddenly!).
My experience –
This simply glides on the lips but it feels a little rough
at times (Don’t know why!). The color stays on the lips for a short duration
like 2 -3 hours. But, the best part is the moisturization! It feels so smooth
and soft on the lips and also holds the moisture in!And also this is really
good to be worn under lipsticks.
But, this is not exactly a “winter lip balm”, because it
doesn’t really work well on extremely chapped lips. So, this is a good option
for summers and the tint makes it perfect.
Plus, the way Maybelline is increasing the price of Baby
Lips, one has to find options!
Price – 135 INR
for 4.8 g
Must - have meter –
I will give this a 6 on the meter. Rest is up on you to
decide!
