Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in Shade no P170 || A Subtle or A Bold Shade? || Review

I have recently started to get all into lipsticks! I remember when I reviewed the first lipstick on this blog I was quite oblivious to the effects that one lipstick can have!!

Now I realize that a swipe of lipstick can have some really big effects on how you look!

So, I wanted to start experimenting with different shades and around the time I decided this Lakme launched 10 new shades of their Enrich range in a revamped packaging!  And I must say that I love it, at least it is waaayyy better than the old packaging!

I am quite sure that every woman in India who uses lipstick must have, at least once, used the Lakme enrich lipsticks! I have seen my mom own these! And they finally changed the packaging to something more edgy and modern, which was highly needed! No one would have bought these even at this price, because of the packaging! 

I have a unique color out of the 10 shades, Shade no. P170. The best part about these lipsticks is that these are light on pocket! The 10 shades are mostly different shades of pink (think peachy pinks to purple pinks) and some are really pretty and unique! Perfect for summer!

Now let's put the spot light on P170.

Color: - It is color which I would like to call subtly bold. It is a pinkish purple shade and on my lips it looks like a little pinker than the bullet. But, it is a really safe option if you would like to opt for a bolder shade and still be in the safe zone! This can easily be called as a light shade.

Pigmentation: - The coverage at this range is pretty good. It provides medium to full coverage with just two swipes. 

Stay: - It lacks a little on this department. It does not survive light meals even. And if you are not having meals at all then this would stay put for around 2- 3 hours. 

Finish: - The finish of this lipstick is glossy and it stays that way for almost as long as it stays put.

My experience: - I like almost everything about this lipstick except the fact that it smells like Cough syrup, but thank goodness that smell stays for only a few minutes. I like that these are not drying. 

This does not leave a tint behind. It is comfortable on lips. It is nether sticky nor dry.

I will give this a 6 on the meter because I would recommend you these for the awesome shades and these being light on the pocket but the stay and the smell is a little upsetting.
