Last week I introduced you to Puresense soaps by soap opera
and now it is time for completely handmade soaps which are vegan, not tested on
animals and palm oil free, but above all very pocket friendly.
Introducing Lilac soaps , a company based out of Pune,
making budget handmade soaps.
I have two soaps from them today, one from their specials edition
soaps and one from their essential soap collection.
You can buy these at www.lilacsoaps.com , but if you want
free shipping you would have to shop for more than 1000 INR and considering the
price you will get a lot of soaps with that amount of money!
They charge 100 INR for shipping if your order amount is
less than 1000 INR.

The two soaps with me are – Shararat (limited edition) and
Morning raga(essential)
Shararat -
The light yellow soap, the soap bar is of 120 g and on the
website it says 80 INR for 100g but these are for 80 INR (just a little
confused there). The fragrance of this soap is really nice and light, but I couldn’t
quite place what type of fragrance it is.
Morning raga-
Love, looove the blue color! The fragrance of the soap is
because of the oils in it(Yaay! Completely natural fragrance). I love
eucalyptus fragrance and this has just that, though a little light (Yeah, no
one wants an all out fragrance of eucalyptus!). This soap bar is also 120g.
These do not melt away quickly unlike these soaps. Lathers
perfectly and leaves a faint fragrance. These soaps go on for a long time and
are not at all drying.

Must have meter –
Both the soaps score an 8 on the must have meter!
I would definitely recommend you to try these out! Only
factor is the shipping charge but that’s okay because all the websites charge
some shipping charge these days.
