Indian makeup blog: Lakme 9 to 5 crease-less lipstick in Flaming Function review, swatches || New launch
When I reviewed my first lipstick from Lakme’s 9 to 5 range in Pink Slip, I must have said that I love it because of its longevity! So,
when Lakme launched their new crease-less collection of lipsticks, I was really
psyched to try it out!

So, I got the brightest one from the range, I would like to
buy the other shades but those are perfect for office and I wasn’t looking for
a subtle shade. I got the shade Flaming
Function from the crease-less range.

And oh boy! I fell in love with the color and the formula of
the lipstick!
Let’s see how it fared under my scanner
Packaging: - The
same as the previous 9 to 5 range, the addition was just the crease-less written
below 9 to 5.
The lipstick bullet is the same, angled. And the twist up is
golden metal like the normal range.
The shade name is written at the back of the tube.

Color: - the
color is a berry red; it is a nice warm fuchsia- red so perfect for this month!

Pigmentation: -
The coverage is medium all you need are two swipes for full coverage!
Texture: - It has
a soft and creamy texture that is very different from the slightly dry texture
of the normal 9 to 5 lipsticks.
Longevity: -
stays easily for 6+ hours, but fades a bit on the inner portion of lips. And does
not bleed or get easily transferred.

My experience:-
Impressive, really
impressive! I wore this to the Body shop event (read more), and I kept eating
those awesome finger foods and cupcakes but this lipstick didn’t budge! It is
really comfortable on my lips and the color is universally flattering. I liked the 9 to 5 in pink slip , but this is awesome and I love it!
I would highly
recommend this for everyone!! Must have!
