in the last few weeks!
Finally here in Kolkata the weather has started to cool a
bit and it is getting pleasant and I love this!
Very soon all our winter clothes will be out and everything will
start changing! Even the lipsticks will change to fall colors! But I think
pinks are perfect for all seasons in case of lipsticks! Pink lipsticks are
always good for day time!
Today I have a matte pink lipstick from the 9 to 5 range of
Lakme, Pink slip and I’ll get on with the review of lipstick.
Color:- The color
is a pale pink, almost a nude pink lipstick , which is perfect as a subtle
office color. It is perfectly matte and stays that way for a long time. It has
no shimmers or glitter. It has a lavender-ish color to it.
Packaging: - It
comes in a pink cardboard box, which I love! And the lipstick comes in a
metallic pink tube, with 9 to 5 written on it. And the name of the lipstick is
written below the tube. The twist up is a gold metal tube which has to be
twisted up for the lipstick to come out. And it is angled.
Texture and
pigmentation: - The texture is a bit dry and does not glide on lips, tugs a
bit even. Pigmentation is not very impressive, but since it is a light color I
won’t complain much. Two to three coats are enough for full coverage.It can easily cover slight pigmentation.
Longevity: - now
this is something that is impressive, is stays put for good 4+ hours and fades
away with no stain. But unfortunately it starts to get a little dry and flaky
after a few hours. But it doesn’t transfer easily at all! But it is pretty
comfortable to wear after sometime and can survive a small meal.

My experience: -
For me a lipstick which stays on for long is a very good thing because I cannot
keep a lipstick in place for long! But I would prefer wearing this with a lip
balm on as it tends to get dry after sometime. But I like it because of the
nice, neutral pink color and its long staying power and for 400 rupees it is quite good
a product!

Since I have mixed feelings about this lipstick, I would not
highly recommend but I do recommend
it for those who want long time wear, in a subtle shade.
