After I shifted to Bangalore the first thing I purchased was
a hand cream from Body Shop and today I will review that but before that I
would like to ramble a bit, about my experience at The Body Shop outlet of the
forum mall here in Bangalore.
I went to buy this while they had the sale going on, this
was not on sale and I bought this.
I went to the shopper’s stop next to the mall and saw these
hand creams on 50% off! I was, quite frankly, stunned! I just wanted to clear
if by mistake the people at the outlet forgot about it or something so I went
back after a while to the mall and normally asked the store manager if these
were on sale or not and again I was stunned by the treatment I received!
This was my first ever purchase from body shop and I don’t know,
it might also be the last and from that outlet for sure my last! I asked if it was or not, he could have just
simply said “No”, normally( I do not want that person to be even polite! ), but
instead first he rudely (extremely!) said he doesn’t know and I should not
bother him about it.
That made me angry to be honest and then when I asked him
to confirm it from someone else , he made a call to his area manager and talked
to him for 2 minutes and then almost shouted at me that “NO , this is only an
exclusive offer at the Shopper’s stop” . (Fine by me, but the fact that he shouted really pissed me off!) That was it and I almost wanted to
throw this on his face and walk out. I just noted his name and thought of
mailing complain about him to the body shop, after I came back I thought of not
doing that.
But hands down this was the worst experience I ever had at a
store and most of all at a body shop store !
And if this is the kind of behavior they have towards their customers I
will never, ever shop from them again.
Now let’s get on with the review. [sorry, for the rambling ]
Packaging:-
It is small tube with a screw cap and is lightweight. So, it
is perfect to carry around in your purse.
Product:-
It is white, foam like cream, Very light in texture and it
smells pretty amazing.
Fragrance:-
The fragrance is fruity, cranberry like and stays for at
most 15 minutes and then fades. The light fragrance stays for 2 hours at
max. It is a mild fragrance so it is
good for those of you like me ( read sensitive to strong fragrances).

My experience: -
Apart from the experience I had while buying this , it is
nice.
But if you are looking for a hand cream that moisturizes
your hands then this might not be a very
good choice.
The fragrance is very good and all, but that is it. These hand
creams are not really moisturizing and at the price they come, they better be
moisturizing. I like to apply this when I am feeling tired to lighten up my
mood.
The best part about these apart from the lovely fragrance is
that these are really light and get absorbed within seconds. I think this would be perfect for summers.
But, I don't like the fact that the ingredient list is hidden under the price sticker .
Price: - 495 INR
Quantity: - 30 ml
Must have meter: - On the must have meter I would rate it a
5, because it is good but not moisturizing and for 500INR, honestly not worth.
