Indian nail art blog: Maybelline new york Colorshow nail polish in Mint Mojito review, price and swatch
Helloo everybody! How are you doing these days!
I am okay, just counting days till my last nail polish
remover finishes , because on that day I’ll end my shopping ban. It is so hard
to control and not buy nail polish for a nail polish addict like me! But I am
proud of myself :D, because I am able to control myself :D! Yyaaaaaaaaaaayyyy *happy dance*
And today I have a nail polish swatch for you here!
Maybelline Colorshow Mint Mojito (Shade number 404).
This nail polish was a gift from my brother along with this one and I just wanted to check something before I reviewed this, which is why
there is so much of gap between the review of this one and the other one.
So let’s get on with the review:-
Color: - a fresh
green color, it is the color of a baby banana leaf. It has no shimmer or
glitter.
Finish: - Glossy
finish with a nice even texture. Doesn’t get streaky.
Formula: - a
runny, creamy formula and perfect for the brush. Spreads evenly while applying
and it takes a bit of time to dry completely.
Brush: - Medium
width of the brush compliments the formula.
Packaging:- Cylinder
glass bottle with a symmetrical cap which is the holder for the brush and the
shade number engraved in white on top.
Pigmentation: -
love it! One coat is okay, but needs two coats to be completely opaque. But you
won’t find much of a difference.
Nail art: - As a
base it is really good and for designs also it would be great due to its pigmentation.
Longevity:- It stays easily without chipping for good four days!
But, it has been almost a month since I last applied this
polish on my nails , but my nails are still stained badly! Green bare nails, yuck! This is what I wanted to check!
Price: - 75 INR
Quantity: - 6 ml
Rating: - 2.5/5 (because
of the staining)
Though the color is really beautiful, I would not recommend this.
Have you tried this
color? Is there any other green nail polish that you like?
