Indian nail art blog : Maybelline Colorshow in Shocking seas review and swatches
Hey guys! How are doing these days !!???
I am fully into the spirit of Durga Puja! Planning about the
dresses and also of going out for pandal hoping!
I am a little late in posting the swatch of this beautiful
blue nail polish. My sweet little brother gave me this one for Rakhi as a gift
with his pocket money! Sweet isn’t it?? He gave me this Maybelline Colorshow
shocking seas nail polish (shade number 303) !
And if you are a follower of this blog then you must know by
now that I love all colors but I am a sucker for blue!!
And this particular is my most favourite blue so far!

Let’s get on with the review and see what I think about the
polish-
Color: - this
color has no shimmers or glitters. This is a beautiful aqua blue, with a glossy finish.
Formula: - dries
pretty quickly. It doesn’t get streaky and spreads uniformly. The consistency
is perfect for application.
Pigmentation: -
now this is a little disappointing. It needs 4 coats to give a perfectly opaque finish.
I am wearing 3 coats here because I do not prefer so many coats
Package: - The
standard cylindrical bottle with the cylindrical black cap. Cute. The name of
the polish is engraved on the cap along with the shade number.
Brush: - a medium
sized brush, perfect for application. But at once it can take up a lot of
color.
Nail art: -
perfect for smooth base but not for designs as the pigmentation is not
impressive.
Longevity: -
Chips off very quickly! Started chipping off on the second day! But I like the glossy effect that stays on.
